Decision made.

I found a condominium near my workplace. It's a 1 bedroom condo, located in Makati, only 5-10min. walking distance to Export Bank Plaza and Shopwise. :)

I hopefully move this coming Sunday... Still got many things to do. First I have to get a checking account, because they want to get paid by post dated checks. Then I need a lot of cash... don't know if I have to pawn my iPod or Cell. :( I also need to organize a truck, but I think I will get the offer from my neighbor. It's 2k for the truck and 3 helper.

I did not do much last weekend. Saturday morning I drunk with some office mates at a bar next to the office. Just 2 bottles, I was to tired after the night shift. Yesterday, I cleaned the apartment and put some stuff into boxes for the coming move. Now I will take a nap, so that I will survive the night shift. I already bought some 3in1 coffee. hehe.

Long weekend.

I'm having a long weekend, because I'm shifting to a new schedule. Friday and Saturday night I had a lot of fun. I went to a Videoke bar with some office mates and stayed there till early in the morning. Can't believe that I stood on the mini stage and sang in front of strangers... haha. Alcohol kasi...

Saturday, we went to a club in Makati, called Club Bureau, It was like back in Germany. Loud hip-hop music, tasty cocktails and the crowd was nice... My office mates also saw some celebrity's there... unfortunately I did not. :( After clubbing, we grabbed some food at Jollibee, before we chilled out at Starbucks.

I need to make a decision....

Should I go for the expensive 16k condo, which is right beside my office or should I look for another one? The good thing about the condo is, that I would save the fair to go to work and of course a lot of time. It has a swimming pool and a gym. It's a studio type condo with a divider, that makes it look like a 1 bedroom condo. It has a great view facing Manila Bay and is at the 23th floor. It's semi-furnished and comes with a bed, wardrobe and an air condition. But 16k is only the price for the rent... there are additional dues plus of course water and electricity... that would sum up to, let's say 19k!!!

My friend would only share 3k per month... so 16k for me and less of 8k for me per cut off of my salary... How am I supposed to live my live as a shopaholic? Should I go for it??? I don't have much time to decide, I have to pay the first installment for the reservation this Saturday...

Wish ko lang...

Now that I got a job and earn my own money, I have soooo many things I wanna buy. Already made a top 10 list of items that I am longing for so long.

Nintendo Wii
I want one for a long time now! It came out when in the year I left for Germany 2006. Never had enough money to buy one. So NOW, finally my dream will come true and I can buy my own Wii Wii... X-)

ipod

I haven't decided yet, what ipod model I'm gonna buy. It might be a 2nd gen shuffle or a 4th gen nano. :) What I like about the shuffle is, that it is a small and you can clip it to your shirt. So on my long way to work I would have some music. I can't listen to music with my current cell (N73), because after 5-10min. my cell would get low-batt. But also the nano is nice, I could watch my favourite youtube clips on it... hmm... I still have time to decide until my next payday. haha.

PSP or NDSi
I already own a DSlight and I would like to have the new version with a slimmer and cooler look and of course the dual cams. But it's still new on the market and therefore still priced high. Maybe I will go for a PSP, so I could play Final Fantasy VII and God of War. ;)

Enough gadgets..... more on fashion.

Shoes
I need new shoes, maybe I go for a pair of Sketchers. Saw some nice elegant leather models at SM and I also like Nike or Adidas sneakers.

Clothes
I'm glad that at my job they are not strict when it comes to clothes. I can wear casual clothes. Therefore, I'm gonna buy some jeans and nice shirts.

Watch
Accessories are great, especially if it comes to watches. I could need a new one, because my current is losing his paint... I like one from Unisilver or Tommy Hilfiger.

So many items, but not enough money... maybe next year I will own all of them... wish ko lang. ;)

Personality Test!

Reliable Realist

Reliable Realists are down-to-earth and responsible-minded. They are precise, reserved and demanding. Their most prominent quality is reliability and they will always make every effort to keep any promise given. Reliable Realists are more quiet and serious persons, they do not talk a lot but they are good listeners. They sometimes seem reserved and distant to outsiders although they often have a great deal of wit and esprit. Their strong points are thoroughness, a marked sense of justice, doggedness bordering on pigheadedness and a pragmatic, vigorous and purposeful manner. Reliable Realists do not dither about if something has to be done. They do what is necessary without wasting words.

This personality type not only expects a lot of himself but also of others. Once Reliable Realists have set their mind on something, it is difficult to persuade them otherwise. They do not like to leave anything to chance. Planning means safety to Reliable Realists, as well as order and discipline. They have no problem respecting authorities and hierarchies but do not like to delegate tasks. They are certain that others would not deal with them as conscientiously as they do. In management positions, they are very task-oriented - they make sure that things are well done; however, they do not have a great deal of interest in personal contacts at work.

In relationships too, Reliable Realists are reliability itself. As partners, they are faithful and consistent, well-balanced and sensible. Security and stability are very important to them. They have little time for extravagances and flightiness. Whoever has them as friend or partner can rely on them for a lifetime. However, it takes quite a while for Reliable Realists to enter into a relationship or friendship. They have little need for social contacts; they therefore take great care when choosing partners and friends and limit themselves to a small but exclusive circle which meets their high demands. They tend to show their closeness to people who are important to them by deeds - their partner should rather not expect romantic declarations of love.

Adjectives which describe your type: introverted, practical, logical, planning, tradition-conscious, organised, persistent, objective, tidy, conscientious, cautious, loyal, peace-loving, sensible, down-to-earth, responsible-minded, reserved, careful, independent, punctual, precise, demanding, ability to concentrate, trustworthy, pedantic, reliable, persevering.

...scattered thoughts...

I wanna watch TRANSFORMERS!

Man, I hope that I can watch Transformers 2 next week. The trailer i so cool! I loved the first Movie and hope that I will not be disappointed with the 2nd one.

Furthermore, I want to say R.I.P. MJ. I actually grow up with the songs of Michael Jackson... I hoped that he would have a comeback... I was actually not that shocked, when I heard that that he died, but now that I hear his songs all over again, I'm going to recall the time when I was young and MJ was still the number one, the KING OF POP!

Washday!

Nothing much to tell. Had to wash my cloth, so that I have something to wear next week. :) With my first salary I really need to buy a washing machine!!!

Tomorrow, I'm gonna work for my product training in Makati. We are done with the Basic Customer Service Skills. Maybe within the next two months I'm going to transfer to a new apartment in Makati, so I would not have to travel 1 1/2h to get to work...

Now I'm going to review a bit and than chill to be energized for the coming week.

On July 17, the new Harry Potter movie will come out! I have to watch that!!!

ACCIDENT!!!

What the hell! I just got home from work... I usually take a cab after work, because I work until 11pm and that's the safest and fastest way to get home... I THOUGHT!? When I got into the cab the driver looked already suspicious. He was jumping up and down his seat and was always s scratching his head... I thought he is crazy....

We got into traffic and I was looking outside the window, when suddenly it made BAM! I was confused for the first second and did not know what happened... Then I saw the mess, the driver was fallen asleep (micro-sleep) and rammed the front car!!! What the F***! After there was a loud discussion between the drivers going on, I was shocked at the moment and just wanted to get away... and that is what I did. I got out the cab and got into another....

Ok
, now I realized I should had payed at least... but hey, what if he had rammed a tree, guard rail or wall??? Then I sure, could not blog anymore... So whatever... puh, now I need a hard drink!!!

Wow, I love it!

It was so exciting at my first day at my first job here in the Philippines! The HR people who were handling the orientation were all nice and I learned a lot about the company! There are quit a lot of rules and you can really get terminated fast. I will give my best and hope that I got regularized after 6 months! :)

What else? I may transfer to a nearer location of my work, so I would have more time for me. It takes me 1 1/2 hours to get to work and at night I would take a cab to get home, because of safety measures. There are condominiums near my work, where I'm going to inquire next month.

Right now I share a apartment with two friends of mine in Marikina City and my work is in Taguig, Global Bonifacio. Quit a far distance...

A new part of my life...

...is going to start tomorrow! That's a good reason to make a new blog at blogger.com. I had one before at my friendster profile, but now that I more into facebook, I don't update it anymore.

So what to say about me. I've born in Germany and grew up there and till to my 22nd years of live i lived in my hometown Freiburg-Hochdorf. I was done with my studies in Germany and as my uncle from the Philippines came for a visit, he insisted that I should go with him to the Philippines to learn how to be a photographer. That's his job, he owns a photo studio and is into covering Weddings and other festivities. Also it thought it would be a good chance to improve my English skills. I intended to stay here only for a 6 months, but due to some circumstances I began to study IT at STI. Because I did not really learn how to be a photographer at my uncles studio, what I did most of the time was doing editing with Photoshop. I liked it, but my grandmother insisted that I should study here.

That was a good chance for me to learn more about the Philippines culture and people. I enjoyed the 2 years of my studies. I speak better Tagalog and English than I did 3 years ago and now I'm good enough that I found a very good job that needs my language skills. I applied for a position as a bilingual call center customer representative and I'm happy that I got it. Now, tomorrow will be the orientation and that's the start of my new life... my new independent life!
